Meconopsis, also known as the Himalayan Blue Poppy,
was an almost mythical flower to me, until I saw it at last!
Across the lawn at Thuja Gardens, shining like a beacon in the sun.
Such an ephemeral beauty, I sat and spent the afternoon with it.
