“Passion Flower”

Original painting is oil paint on canvas, 40”w. x 36”h.

Passion Flower is one of those flowers that are so amazingly complicated,

and after all that work of becoming so complex it can only be open for one day! 

This plant spends its summer out on the patio, bearing fruit,

and then winters indoors, filling my studio with its lovely scent every time it blooms.
