This lichen is so colorful it is hard to miss.
This particular one I found on top of an old fence post,
but it is often found on the ground as well.
Its cheerful colors pop out at you most in the otherwise quiet color seasons:
latest Fall before snow and earliest Spring.
Sometimes it is the biggest color out there.
